Inspection and Deposition Tools Improve Solar Panel Manufacturing - Posted 7/20/08
NexTech Solutions, Inc. and FAS Holdings Group, LLC, jointly doing business as "NexTechFAS," have developed two new products for use in the manufacture of solar panels. The PVScan, an automated optical inspection (AOI) tool, and the PVAdvantage, an extrusion deposition (ED) tool, are designed to decrease the costs and improve production yields in the manufacture of photovoltaic (solar) products.

SSCT Issues Call for Papers for 2009 Conference – Posted 6/24/08
The Southern Society of Coatings Technology (SSCT) has issued a call for papers for its 2009 Annual Meeting & Technical Conference, March 15-18 at The King & Prince Beach & Golf Resort in St. Simons Island, GA. The emphasis of the 2009 SSCT Technical Conference is to further promote “green” technology, and the theme of the meeting is “On the Seas of Green Formulating.”
